The Blunt SS is a great tubeless compatible cross country mountain bike rim. It has an internal width of 26.6mm which makes it a great rim for tires 1.8"-2.5" in width.

The '35' part is a reference to its astounding width, which gives any wheel built with it a larger footprint, and so, more traction. Very useful for cross-country and all-mountain riders who are looking for lateral stiffness without so much weight

With a wider footprint, the A23 allows for a more aerodynamic rim/tire combination when paired with a 23c tire. The tire profile mimics the characteristics of a tubular, gaining increased control and lower rolling resistance.
