B.I.G. 29er Features

As a full-suspension mountain bike, the B.I.G has a four-bar suspension design for more reliability and comfort. In addition to the unique full-suspension mountain bicycle configuration, you can also enjoy a number of essential features, including:

  • High handlebars for better control and comfort
  • Big wheels for rolling over obstacles (29er or 29er Plus)
  • Long & thick head tube for stiffer frames and better fit
  • Accommodation for up to 210mm custom cranks
  • S-Shaped downtube for more stiffness & durability with rear shock compatibility
  • 12 x 148mm (Boost) rear through axle for more strength and clearance

With all of these specifications combined, the result is a more controllable bike for the most technical terrain. Handle steep trails and enjoy clearance for rear shock with a bike that’s made in 2XL/3Xl for riders 6’4″ to 6’10” and 4xl/5XL  for riders 6’9″ to 7’4″

Suspension Travel Options:

The Short Travel option is approximately 110mm rear travel and 140mm front travel. This option is best for smoother trails as well as heavier riders. The rear suspension leverage ratio is reduced, making it more suitable for riders up to 315lbs.

The Medium travel option is about 135mm rear tavel and 160mm front travel. This is the most popular set up and gives you the most versatility in your terrain. It's plush on rocky technical terrain yet efficient for pedaling on smooth trails.

The Long Travel option is about 160mm rear travel and 180mm front travel. This is going to have an enduro bike feel to it and will be super plush on long rocky descents. The rear suspension leverage ratio gets increased on this option making it better for riders under 265lbs. This set up climbs great too, but you will lose a little efficiency with the extra travel.
