Seatpost slipping when you ride? This friction clamp set is an elegant solution to this annoying problem plaguing many heavy riders or mountain bikers with dropper seatposts. This set includes the main seatpost clamp and a matching friction clamp, both with a high quality glossy black powder coat. 

The friction clamp works great for dropper seatposts which require low torque from the main seatpost clamp to prevent performance issues with dropper post activation and retraction. The Friction clamp can be clamped around the dropper post body just above the frame and torqued to 5nm. This combined with the correct torque on the main seat post clamp will prevent your post from sliding down into your frame if that is a problem you have. 

• Works on any seatpost from 29.8mm to 31.6mm diameter
• Main seat binder is 34.9mm to match most current bike frames
• M5 bolt. 4mm allen wrench required. 
• 5nm torque recommended on the friction clamp
• 10nm max torque on main clamp (or follow your frame or seatpost manufacturer's recommendations)
• Great for dropper seatposts.
